Rebatestatus.com consumer rip-off fraud by failure to honor rebate Scottsdale Arizona
In good faith I purchased a Yamaha CD/RW from MacConnection in May 2002 because the catalog offered a rebate. I immediately filled out the required paperwork and mailed it to Yamaha CD-RW Recorder Rebate, Dept 32798, POBox 52900, Phoenix, AZ 85072. When the $50 rebate did not come I contacted www.rebatestatus.com and they claimed they never received a request for rebate and asked me to resubmit. I resubmitted all the paperwork again and mailed it to them at Customer Service, Department #, POBox 15800, Scottsdale, AZ 85267. Again, no rebate so I contacted teami@cs.rebatestuats.com and resubmitted all reqired paperwork PLUS additional information they requested and still do not have my $50 rebate. The frustrating part is all rebatestatus.com seems to do is make me resubmit and my paperwork must end up in never, never land because they do not seem to receive it. I would not have bought the Yamaha if it had not had the rebate. Linda Haines City, Florida
