Receivables management group False info on credit report Eden prairie , Minnesota
On 4/24/13 I was surprised by an alert on my credit report.
I pulled my report and found a collections account from a company
called receivables management group for $33 and I flipped out
because I am trying to improve my credit to buy a home
in the near future. I googled the company and called them to
get to the bottom of it once and for all. I was told that I had account
with BMG music from 2007 and I have to pay him if I wanted it
removed from my credit report. At first he was not able to locate
the account because he did not have my correct name, address or
my SS# but he used my married name and provided the
information. I ask him to let me know when and where the
account was opened but he refused as usual and said I have
to pay it right then and there. I told him over and over again
that I have no knowledge of the debt and he would not hear me
all he wanted was money and I hung up the phone. This
is not the end of it.

I will be in the process of filling a class action judgment against this company and its practices. My entire conversation was just recorded with a rep from this fraudulent company. The rep refused to give me any information to the company it claims to represent. There is no legal grounds for any collection agency to deny anyone access to the client it represents. Also legally once a debit is paid it cannot be removed only marked as a paid debit, in which this rep claimed they could have it removed from a debtors report. I will be willing to take anyone’s case against this collection agency please feel free to email me with questions and the next steps to legally having any falsely claimed debits posted to your credit report by this collection agency. Also I will be sending fillings to the BBC to work on having this agency fined an ultimately closed.
