My credit card was stolen, and this company had many charges placed upon my account during that time. Within minutes of the account being opened and the charge being made the company was contacted and informed the card had been stolen, and that I requested for any of the accounts to be immediately closed and refunded.
At this time, the company become extremely belligerent and unprofessional in their tone and response, questioning not only if our card was stolen, but our validity of the occurence.
Bare in mind, we contacted them almost immediately requesting everything be terminated and refunded.
Below are some of the responses we received before ceasing further contact with them, and informing the police, as well as our bank's fraud department.
In response to our asking for the account to be close and refunded, the informed us that... "
If you think someone has stolen your credit card, please contact police, as we do not investigate such cases."
And refused to close the account and refund the expenses fraudulently charged to our account.
We then responded further begging them to please terminate the account and the monies, informing them that we were already in touch with our bank, however were not planning to contact the police in this matter.
To which there response was "Did you already get the police resolution that your credit card has been stolen? Was it stolen at all?"
I was simply amazed at this sincere lack of professionalism, and disgusted by discovering this is how this company treats anyone! Especially, with myself not wanting to be a customer, simply asking that all account be terminated and refunded (within minutes ).
Now, while I can not say if this company is legit beyond this, the way this situation was discarded and the lack of respect issued to someone worried about their card being fraudulent used to purchase there items is beyond scary! And obviously the fact that we are not the first the report them here, or any other "buyer Beware" sites, says a lot about who this company truly is.
