I'm Disabled and needed a pool for my health, so we went to RFW.

My wife had money she could get from her job, a loan she could pay back, we went to RFW and looked at the pools.
We found one we liked and talked to the salesman and the managerabout things we wanted with it as well as our needs.

I can't clean a pool that is 52' tall, so I'm going to put it 2 feet in the ground so I can easly clean it,
Question;("Is that OK, can I do that, does that void our warranty?")Answer;Yes you can it has a 20 year warranty, it wont void your warranty.
Question;("I need you to hard pipe it can you do this?") Answer;Yes we will if you buy this package now, we'll do it.
Question;("When can you set it up?") Answer; in 8 days.

I told them that's fine I have to have a tree cut down, and had a hole dug 2 feet deep that the pool would go in. I asked again will this void my warranty, they said NO it would'nt.

Then they called me and said they delivered our pool to someone else, and it was the last one they had, they said they would make it right.

It took them 3 weeks to get out to install it and wanted more $ to bowl the sand in it.It rained 3 times and washed in the sides, so I had to redig the hole 3 times. They started to put it together and the parts were the wrong ones,so they had to go get different parts. They made our pool from parts laying around the wharehouse. They used 3 different parts from pools to make it,they said it would be better.

Then they told us they wouldn't hard pipe the pool that I would have to and gave me a list of parts,I called them up they blew me off and said it was more money and they didn't do it.

( I asked them 3 times before we paid cash for it, about the hard pipe and waranty.

Then I go out to see the pump and filter and the filter case is broke they had to bring me another.
This is when I when into their office to complain, the sales person no longer worked there and there was a new manager.

The new manager said that installing the pool 2 feet in the ground voided the warranty and that he could not do anything.

It's been 2 years now and we have been in the pool twice and our daugther has been in it 6 times. The pump doesn't work the filter is bad, the gate valves to turn it off and on rusted through (they use hot tub valves siliconed in, and all their fittings are not standard and or siliconed in) you cant go to home depot or the hardware store to get fitting like they said either.

They wanted to put the same gate valve back in that would rust out again in 6 months from chorine, and charge me too much money.

I just cleaned it out after it not been running for 8 months and kicked out the gators and big tadpols,so I can have my daughters Birthday party in it, then the liner got a hole in it, I had to patch.

I have no idea if it will hold water or stay running long enough to have the party. We should have kept the Orange tree and spent the money on a time share if we wanted to go swimming. It would have been cheaper.THEY SUCK! Dan in Orlando

This is my file I reported over two years ago.
Great Manager and Staff at Orlando Fl.Office.
After almost 5 years of no help from RFW I made a call to the new Orlando RFW Office.

After getting no help in the past I had all but given up. We had talked to other pool people and they said rip all the system out and start all over, so I figured give them one more call.
The salesman was nice, he told me call back Saturday and talk to my managers they could help.

I called back, the manager was nice and helpful, and told me they would send someone out Monday to check it out (NO CHARGE). They came out Monday said it was a mess they would report it to the manager,(the manager called while they were here to check up on the problems ).

He told me get them my paperwork and he'd see what he could do. It has been 1 week since the first time I called them, the manager Scott from the E. Colonial Office just called me, they are replacing the liner, pump and filter and hooking it all up FREE at NO CHARGE it has been 5 years.

I have talked to them 3 or 4 times and they returned all my calls each time. The moral of the story is not all stores or managers are created equal. Scott and Tony and the sales staff at E. Colonial RFW are Great. Thank you for righting the wrong that a bad manager started 5 years ago. And Thank You Corperate for giving them the go ahead.
