Recruit and Field Non-payment for work NYC New York
Beware! There is something fishy about this company. I completed an online research project, but rather than answer my question on when I would receive compensation, Shannon told me I had made it to the "next step", A Skype interview.
I then completed that and a couple days later, again asked about the compensation (the amount of which varies according to who you speak with at RAF and what is described on their Facebook page,) This time, I was told I had made it to the next step, an "in-home interview", which then became an interview at a gym (even though I told them I had fallen and suffered a fractured rib!) and then numerous phone calls trying to setup the "interview" (when I asked if this was an "observation", no reply - the compensation is different).
I made them aware there is a huge snowstorm the day of the interview in Vermont, but they kept asking me if I would take a cab to a gym - then balked at the price? How were they getting to Vermont? Why couldn't they interview me at home? They can't afford $25 for a cab but can come all the way from NYC to VT for an interview? Today I received an email from Dawn Silvestro, the Project Manager, saying the interview was canceled due to inclement weather - no kidding!
They might reschedule, she said. I again asked about compensation for my online participation, and again received no response. Complete scam! Stay away and don't waste your time. I'll bet the glowing reviews are fake, just like RAF.

This was a problem of incorrect payment information and a complete lack of communication on the part of the team assigned to my project. In order to resolve the issue, I needed to contact the CEO, who immediately paid me upon receipt of my complaint.
