RECRUITING AND STAFFING CAREERS

This company is running a  Scam

I was contacted by a recruiter saying that they thought I'd be a good fit for a job so we scheduled an interview.

It turns out that this 'interview" was simply some guy on a web cam, telling (God knows how many viewers) that they'd make 50% of every plavement commission they filled if they came to work (from home) for RECRUITING AND STAFFING CAREERS

Employment agencies get 20-30% of the employee's first years salary for every position they fill, so that means that I'd get 1/2 of the overall commisiiion

Place a guy that makes 60,000. Commission would be between $12,000 0 $20,000. May part would be 1/2 of this.   Sounds good, right ?

Well what they DON'T tell you is:
1) they run these web seminars CONTINUOUSLY and hire thousands of suckers like me

2) that means I'm competing against thousands of other recruiters (working for the same company)
to fill just a few jobs !

3) at the end of the "interview"  the guys says "OK, we have to fill 50 positions NOW. So for $297.00 you can join our company but hurry"  then he starts reading off names of the people who have paid with credit cards.  They sold 50 "postions" in about 15 minutes

Supposedly the $297 + Postage ($310 in my case) is "fully refundable, "after you make your first placement" or after a year IF YOU PROVE that you've done everything that they gave told you to do

I looked at their "backroom" and job listings.......slim pickings, if they have thousands of "agents". There were NOT that many positions.

So I wrote back to them at 2 a.m. (within 12 hours)  and demanded a full refund, citing Federal consumer protection laws.

Supposedly they are crediting my account,  but I'm calling my bank to be sure !  DON'T PAY FOR A JOB !!
