    I am an employee at the Red Lion hotel. I've been working at this hotel in Aurora Colorado off Parker Rd and I-25 for over 11yrs. This hotel has changed owners from Holiday Inn, Radisson and now The Red Lion. I work in the housekeeping department and other older employees and I are being very mistreated here.


   Here at the Red Lion we are being told to not clean using any soaps or bleach when cleaning the restrooms in the rooms. We are being told just to wipe things down with a towel, not to change any sheets and move on to the next room. We are expected to finish more than 30 rooms within 8 hours. We are threatened that if we cannot do more than 30 rooms then we will not receive days to work.


   In my 11yrs of working here we have always been told to do 16 rooms within the 8 hours and we received $3 more per extra room we finished. I understand that every owner has different rules but 16 compared to 30 does not seem right to me nor the rest of the employees. Not only do they expect us to finish more than 30 rooms in the 8 hour shift but they make us clock out 15 minutes early (8am-4:15pm).


    At lunch they have always given us food and now they give us food that literally has mold growing on it. I am an older woman and I cannot lose this job but they are exploding us here and something has to be done. Since some others and I cannot finish 30 rooms I have been receiving only 1 day a week and for me to be working here at this hotel for 11 yrs and getting paid only $8 an hour I do not know what to do anymore.


    We are all tired and want somebody to come investigate whats going on in here because it is not fair. Not only not fair to us but to our guest that don't receive the clean service they deserve.

Where do i start with this hotel they should be shut down everyone should be fired ,i was a regular here due to fact location was convient spent 7 thousand ,but i will never step foot in here they are discriminative ..First off please stay away from the redhead SALES MANAGER unless you want to catch a charge he is very distespectful i have him on tape record plenty of times ..My last problem is he restricted me from shuttle that is free because he said i dont tip drivers enough money,then he said i need to pay regular price for hotel in order to get shuttle which the general manager CHRISTIAN gave me the rate,, i dont no his problem he acts racist its really crazy how the treated me and other people..Kelley ,patience and and DEBORAH is rude they answer the phone saying" ADDRESSING YOU BY FIRST NAME they have no type of costumer service rude and have a attitude like you did something to them .,I GOT STUCK ON ELAVATOR WAS CRYING HAD ANXIENTY AND THEY DID NOT AKNOWLEDGE ANYTHING BUT THE FACT THAT THEY DIDNT MISS A CALL WHILE I CALLED LIKE 7 TIMES WAS STUCK FOR 10MINS ...the rooms are s***** matanience always have to come for toilet bein broken,the elavator is always down,breakfeast has flies in it out of 11 floors the radisson and red lion has one ice machine that works.,THE PEOPLE ARE RUDE SO RUDE ..I END UP CALLING CORPORAT.  I JUST RECENTLY GOT RELOCATED TO THIS HOTEL BY PRICELINE AND SINCE I CALLED CORPORATE GUESS WHAT THEY DID REFUSED MY SERVICE VERY DISCRIMANTIVE NOT TO MENTION WATCH THE MAIDS MY DRIVER LICENSE AND CREDIT CARD CAME UP MISSING PLEASE STAY AWAY
