Please avoid this company. A couple of months ago I purchased almost £100 worth of supposedly 'Raw, Organic'nuts from them. I say 'supposedly' as when they arrived there was absolutely no proof that the nuts are organic, no certification as you get on products from reputable companies. The nuts arrived in plastic zip bags (the type that can be purchased from any supermarket), and labels with the use by date written in hand. I purchased a kilo each of Macadamia, Walnut, Brazil, and Almond nuts. The Brazils and Macadamias tasted stale, and were yellowing. The Walnuts were in tiny pieces for the most part (looking as though someone with heavy boots had trampled on them); there was also a significant amount of nut dust in the bag - over 0.1 kilo (I sieved and weighed it). A few of the Almonds had green mould through them! I took photos of all of this. I made enquiries about the lack of organic certification, I was told they cannot disclose their suppliers! The bag of Walnuts had a use by date of 12/15, since I ordered them on 29/12/15 I pointed this out to the company. Somebody called Graham (who clearly has no concept of how to promote good customer relations) emailed back saying that the sell by date was an error, and that they should have written 12/16 on the label - quite frankly, it is clear to me that they could have written whatever they chose to on the label, how are we to know if it's genuine? In addition to this , Graham informed me that I should go to Trading Standards, and that he had closed my account - he obviously needs an extended course in customer relations! I've compared the nuts that this company supply, with nuts from a number of supermarkets; although the supermarket nuts I've tried may not always be 'raw or organic', they without exception taste fresher, crunchier, and more flavoursome than the nasty nuts this company sell at a premium price. Don't waste your money!!
