Complaint Review: Redline Torque Converters - Frank Kuperman

My transmission on my 93 chevy rollback was starting to have problems and made nosies. I tow for the law enforcement up in the northern state of Arizona. I contacted Redline Torque Converters & told me they have what I need which would total $1050.00. Sent my sister down to Phoenix & made down payment of $500.00. Later sent my wife down to pick up the remanufactured transmission along with another core for core charge which would have been another $500.00 along with the full payment of$550.00 Took pictures of my transmission on my rollback tow truck and sent my wife to get the transmission. Brought the transmission back & it was the wrong one. This time, I went & brought the wrong transmission back & explained to them the type of transmission I needed, & they said they would fix the problem. About a week later I called back and asked if they have my transmission ready, they in turn asked if I had found the parts to fix the transmission. I told them that was not part of the deal, which was why I paid all that money in good faith that they was going to take care of me on providing a good transmission for me. So I told them if they can't find a transmission to refund my money along with my core. They told me they already sold my core & it was gone. I tried to call back several times & their phone soon was disconnected. Contacted sheriff & didn't get no help, even contacted the radio station 3OYS & said they were going to e-mail me back, but never did. Later found out on their web-site about what a rip-off this company was to other people and wish had check their company out first. I would appreciate your help in this matter since I could'nt get help else where. Thank you Big Mike
