 I am making this report on Casey and http://www.Refugechat.com she allows illegally modified copyrighted software on her chat. This patch is illegally modified by a man by the name of Nick Franga, his website is http://letstalkdigichat.com where he get's ideas and information on developing his illegally modified chat. But this report is on Casey as her website powers this. Now since we know who we are dealing with let's prove my words and statements are in fact correct. If you login to http://Refugechat.com and you have java installed it's easy, logging in you click chat rooms type the name you desire and click connect once the chat loads you click settings and next information as you can see at the top it says "CopyRight http://Digi-Net.Com and http://digichat.ccom you can clearly see this software does in fact belong to Digichat.com &' http://www.digi-net.com. company's pay copyright for a reason there is something called the DMCA now for those who don't know they are called the Digital Millenium CopyRight Act this company handles all these type of cases. Now let's look at the punishment for this crime. The United States No Electronic Theft Act (NET Act), a federal law passed in 1997 in response to LaMacchia, provides for criminal prosecution of individuals who engage in copyright infringement under certain circumstances, even when there is no monetary profit or commercial benefit from the infringement. Maximum penalties can be five years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines.
