If this happened to you please join a law suit document it here.

Barely 18 child agrees to Purchase a car with their 3 month work history. Verbally agrees to 269.00 per month signs BLANK contract leaves with car.

Parent gets call,"We can't get finance for your child's car."   You answer,"I have a car loan and mortgage as well as credit card debt I can't help them right now."  They answer,"If you sign a letter to the lenders stating what a great kid he is and how he is in college holding a job etc. It will help him."

3 weeks later you sign the letter with a witness with you.   Your child already has a loan in your name with a payment book with you as the primary on the loan.  They have already made 2 payments themselves with money orders.

Call the dealership get well the issue is not with them the car is yours now.  No one can help.  Call the bank they say you are deadbeat and tell! you bring it to the dealership.  The dealership buys it back out of repossession – it never left their lot- for 7 or 8 thousand less then they charged you on paper.  When you finally get a copy of what you never signed your kid signed to buy a car listed at 13,000 for 21,000.  Don’t even ask if you have consumer protection there is none in this county in this state.  Good old boys all.

You discover the bank is under investigation for predatory lending and other illegal practices 12 things in all.  not a surprise because you know that your debt ratio was over ridiculous with student debt mortgage car credit card no reputable bank – even your own bank- could not legally lend you money or even with you 3 month employed barely adult child cosigning a loan.  There are laws that prevent a bank from making a loan.  I couldn't have gotten 500 $ never mind 22,000 it is craziness.

You have now entered the involuntary repossession stage where you have no open credit card.  In my case I have been through 2 husbands dying having a major illness twice preventing me from working once for 2 years once for 2 months and never left a bad debt ever.  Banks you have had a relationship for 20 years with and never missed a credit card payment, even paid 2 times the monthly amount while disabled don't care you have no credit.  You are forced to use your retirement funds whenever anything adverse happens.

Over the course of 5 years it has chewed up most of mine.  Deaths, repairs, sinkhole at my home, appliances, roofs, dental, physical  all paid as went.  Blessing to have afford.  Incidentally the child involved lost their job over the garnishment on their wages.  They can not get another job because of how they look on paper.  At 23 is washed up so I get to support them.  They can't deal with little decisions they have like a post traumatic disorder.

Please do not get caught in this yourself.  If you have been too please email me maybe we collectively can get our good name back.  By the way I was able to purchase a 30 year fixed mortgage without a job in 2002.  You don’t get that from reckless use of purchase power or credit.  This company ruined my good name and credit.  Please contact me if you also have been trapped or approached the same way.

The person who wrote the report of my failed parenting guess what?  You can only teach by example your children.  My credit until the day I went to Regal Kia to sign a LETTER for my child was spotless.  I was able to purchase a home without a job.  A 30 year mortgage with no job.  None at all.  No disability either.  I did immediately before moving to Florida have top government security clearance which you don't get by poor choices.

This happened because a leanding PREDATOR is in our community exploiting young people.  They need to be stopped.  That is not my job.  Simply want to protect others by sharing what happened and ask that the others who have had  a similar experiance come forward to mount a community class action suit.  Weather they made the payment huge for the young person or they damaged the parent good credit.  It matters.  There are laws in place to protect citizens from predatory lendors. It is not barabrian we are in the USA.  If our Republican state has made laws that do no longer protect us from this THAT is our fault for electing the congress and senate we have.  The lawmakers can not protect us if we do not act to let them know what is happning here.  How does it help our country and community to have homes in foreclosure because a predatory lendor is garnishing wages meant to pay that real debt?  Think about it.  That is why the laws exist.

The sales staff at this company are con artists.  The guy who owned it before was selling the same car 3 times.  He went to jail.  They changed the name but when I called to ask about the problem immediately when I found what was happening I got ,"Was that when we were Michael Holly?"  They just changed the doing business as name and moved on when he went to jai.  I wouldn't have let my son step in their door had I known that.  He would have listened had I cautioned him.  I have purchased 2 brand new cars and several used over my lifetime and never ever had any issue with the vehicle or the dealership.  You are correct at one point I thought wow I fell down as a parent.  When I heard the other woman with the same senario that made me realize this dealership is a bad apple.  Bad business.  Best put in the words of a song," Dirty business down on main street."  We can work together those of us who have had a bad experiance there.  We can help improve the practices.  We can help the next innocent by admitting our ignorance and taking an action.  It reminds me of a time a person watched me put money in a laundry machine they knew was broken.  Why not tell me?  I am telling you and anyone else who might end up the same as I did to BEWARE and perhaps guide thier child to use someone else.  Maybe choose someone else for their car dealing.  At the very least WATCH out if you go there.  Read everything carefully do not go back to sign anything after the initial dealing.

No, THEY did NOT ruin YOUR credit and finances. YOU DID!!!! YOUR CHOICES!!! Dont sit there and try and play the victim when YOU knew full well WHAT you were getting into. Just because all those fancy plans in your head didnt work out like YOU thought it should, doesnt make what THEY do a ripoff. YOU shame yourself madam. YOU show YOUR ignorance!!!All I see is someone who THOUGHT life was fair and equal. Never realizing that AS AN ADULT the choices YOU make will haunt you forever. Same with YOUR child. Did YOU not teach them the lessons on finances?? In WHAT reality did YOU or YOUR CHILD believe that it would be responsible for a young person with NO SKILLS to go and get a NEW car from a dealership?? THIS is as much on YOU as your child!!!! YOU are the adult, the one with LIFE EXPERIENCE!!!! YOU as both the elder of the two of you AND as thier parent should have told them NO!!!! That WHAT they were doing was a bad idea all the way around!!! I know children dont listen but THEY wouldnt have even considered YOUR CHILD as a potential customer if YOU werent there!!!So dont go trying to play the victim when YOU were the 100% responsible ADULT in that situation. YOU claim the contract was blank and your child STILL signed it!!! Seems to me that the REAL problem is YOUR horrible parenting has put your child in a position that THEY will NEVER recover from. NOT that YOU and YOUR CHILD both went into a dealership and WILLINGLY CHOSE to sign a BLANK contract knowing FULL WELL that a CHILD would NEVER be able to hope to make enough THAT EARLY in thier carrer to afford a NEW car. It doesnt matter the brand or the name on the dealership. THEY were doing thier job which is to SELL CARS!!!!! YOU as the responsible adult between the two of you should have STOPPED your child from signing a BLANK contract. Now years later when YOUR bitterness at the situation has had time to fester like the open sore it is, YOU feel it appropriate to go ONLINE and defame a company that was only doing WHAT they do. STOP blaming others for what is CLEARLY your own fault. THAT pity party only has two guests there. YOU and YOUR CHILD!!!
