Regal Moving does it again. I wish I would have checked out the Better Business Bureau before hand.this company has had at least 27 complaints in the last 3 years.

My son was moving back to Michigan from California in January of 2002 and requested an estimate from companies over the internet Regal happened to have responded.

The estimate was for $1,967.67 which he thought was right because he happened to move out to California 10 months before and the price was about the same,he used a reputable company then they just didn't answer the internet request fast enought.

He had to give the driver $500.00 before the move would begin, there were 3 men they did not have to pack just load everything. Before hand he told them of the stairs and his heaviest item which was a pinball machine was told no problem it was included.

When the furniture finnaly arrived 5 weeks later when he was told it would be 3 weeks, they wanted $3000.00 to unload his furniture, or it would be $250.00 a day if couldn't deliever this was a Saturday on Monday they wanted to deliever, he didn't have the extra money they wanted ,so he told the owner Arron Ben-Shoshan, Arron then told him he would have to store it at $500.00 extra then my son told them he guessed they would have to do what they had to do and the owner got mad and hung up on him, We have heard nothing since. We had a lawyer send him a letter to no avail.

They tried to claim it took more men to move his pinball ,the same 3 men moved the couch and there were to many stairs they claimed they didn't know about, but they did, also they couldn't get close enough to the building.
