I contracted on Regal Van Lines on July 12th of 2002 to pick up items from PA July 26th and deliver to CO. Trouble began when they did not arrive on the contracted day. They were two days late and I was back in CO and a friend had to act for me. They also wanted $400.00 in cash or a Money Order. I explained that it was Sunday and that I was in CO. They settled for $100.00 from my friend.

I disposed of the furniture in CO expecting a new furniture to arrive from PA. After ten days I began contacting the company. At first I contacted Mike Kessler the salesman. He turned things over to Avi Poppi. Avi told me that everything would be here in a week to ten days.

This went on for weeks, even the owner (Aaron Ben-Shoshan)promised me on two occasions that my items would be here within a week. As of today I have been waiting 55 days for my property!

They also are telling me that my property weighs 2,800 lbs. and not the 1,400 lbs estimated. They have added packing charges that were supposed to be free. They have promised to reweigh the truck when it arrives in CO and after they have unloaded. At this point I do not believe a word they say! They are charging me over $1,000 over the estimate.

The other thing that tells me they are either "cooking the books" or trying to make sure I can not dispute the payment is that they want either CASH or a MONEY ORDER when they finally get here!

I wish I had seen this information on the Internet before I contacted them. I learned from the "Rip-Off" report I read that this company has a POOR rating from the New York BBB. If I had seem problems other have had with this company, I would NEVER have given them my business!!
