Complaint Review: Regal Van Lines

Regal Got me Too
We moved from Kentucky to Virginia and got a price (in writting) of 1,641.00 when they got to virgina 4 days later with my things, they wanted another 4,500. We didn't have the money so they took all of our stuff.

We have 3 children and no family in Virgina. My husbands work paid the extra money(which was now 5,782.10 because of storage and extra fees they added on)We didn't have anything for about 3 weeks.

Now I'm trying to get a refund on the broken and missing stuff. I hope they get caught for what they are doing. I would love to see them shut down. It was the worst thing that ever happen to me. My little girls were crying for days and still upset because alot of thier stuff is missing or broke.

My damage and lost items total 4,778 if I get any of this I'll be shocked! Also just to add when they went to the local truck stop(My Mother works their)they got two different weights one was at 2-3 am 42520lbs and the other was at 715am 48060lbs. I have copies of the CAT scale ticket numbers to prove it. I can't explain it but It doesn't sound right.

****Update Mr. Jacob Den called me on April 22,2003 @ 12:29pm to tell me my complaint was ridiculous and to take my compaint off of The Squeaky Wheel.Com. I told him I would take the claim off when I get my refund. He Said he is gonna put a claim on here also,about me asking for two much money.

He is suppose to send my claim to a claim office. We will See!!!
