Regcure disabled my computer completely! Internet
I went on the Internet to find something to improve the poor performance of my computer. Regcure promised to repair all of the problems on my computer, so I purchased it and downloaded the program. After running the program my computer would boot up OK but none of my programs would work. I kept getting messages that said "Winsock2 needs to be installed on this computer" and IHPIPAPI.DLL file is not functioning. When I tried to go to the Internet to report theses problems I discovered that I was no longer able to access the Internet. I am not a computer geek so I depend on the products I purchase from the Internet to maintain my computer. I am making this report on my sons computer since mine no longer works. I went online to support@regcure.com and reported my problem. I got no responce. So I e-mailed them at sales@regcure.com and asked them to refund my money. I still have not receaved a responce. I am reporting this in the hopes that I might save some poor sucker from loosing the use of his/her computer as I have.

Finally got hold of CLKBANK.COM "The People who process the orders" Told them what happened, they promised to refund my money within 5 business days. But I'm still out one computer.

My Computer came with all the basic programing pre-installed. All of my programs required updating on the Internet. Therefor I don't have any restore disk. I bought a spy-ware doctor on line, every since I started using it my system restore will only restore my computer to the way it is right now. I try to select a previous date but all previous date are automatically eraised it. sucks, but I really think my computer is toast this time. I called HP and asked if they could sell me a restore disk, and the gentleman who spoke vary poor English told me no!

Just use System Restore to repair your operating system. I am sort of geeky and have not used any reg cleaner for many years. At best, they don't help, and as you have found out, they can do alot of harm. The most common thing that causes poor performance is the junk you have loaded, adware and spyware, supposed to help you win a prize or get paid to surf or it came with that free screen saver. There are many free programs to help you with this kind of thing. If its not free, its a scam. I would list webpages to get the good free ones but that wouldn't make it past the editor, i fear.
