Our story is very similar to the report #1356919, 1383731 and 1384461.

I summarize their SOP (standard operation procedure)

  1. give the quote at a low price (quote 1496 USD)
  2. come very late (12 pm)
  3. harass you with a bad word (.... not disclosed here)
  4. force you to sign on the blank form
  5. raise the price in cash
  6. leave something in your old place which they should move
  7. ask more money if you still want your belonging
  8. deliver to you late, lost some items and sent you something not belonging to you.

The people shown is CJ. Again, threatened me if the price did not go up double, I will lose my deposit.

I refused. He told me that his boss changed his mind, so he still can move for me at the same price (1496).

He threatened again if I did not sign all the blank form, I will lose my deposit.

I sign all the forms except the "article list". I told him that we need to check all the items moved to the truck before I sign.

He is very angry about my refuse, so he shouted, and waked up neighbors. I told him I will call the police.

Then he moved some items on the truck and left some items in my old place and ran away without any notice.

CJ's behavior is so weird, I can not understand immediately at that timing.

At the midnight, I google the name "region relocation", and I found this company is very bad.

The next day, I reported the complaint to FMCSA (Federal motor carrier safety administration).

When Region relocation did not know I report to FMCSA, they still want to increase the payment.

Finally, I got my belonging back at the same price on the quote.

I appreciate the reports here, lead me looking for the help from FMCSA.

I think FMCSA could make difference. I hope the other victims could also report their cases to FMCSA.

When the enforcement watch, they will be different.

As least, the law will be improved in the future based on these data.

Region/Nation relocation still have a valid license.

The owner believes what they do is not a crime.

I really respect their expertise on this business model. But it hurts people.

I think a lawsuit is good but slow. To let enforcement joins ASAP could be better.
