Regions Bank Refused to file debit card dispute and charged unlawful fees totaling over $500 Nationwide

On 2/28/2018 I went in person to a Destin FL Regions branch to file a dispute regarding a debit card transaction totaling $338.94.  That representative listed incorrect information or no information on the form causing the claim to be immediately denied. On 3/1/2018 I conacted the dispute department by phone, discovered what happened and was told by the representative she would re-open the claim. She said, send additional documents.  I did that the same day.  I called the next day to discuss the claim once again and was advised not only did the claim not get re-opened, the person who stated she had re-opened the claim was not even there that day.  So, this third Regions representative stated HE would have the claim re-opened.  As of yesterday's date, 3/9/2018 the money in dispute was never put back into my account and no one was providing any information.  Today I went into a branch and was told that the claim was once again DENIED but she could not see any further information.   

Not only did Regions Bank fail in filing the claim and returning the money, they added an additional $200 plus dollars in fees-  Fees which they fraudulently collected.  This bank has stolen from and treated horribly one of the most vulnerable people in society-a single disabled woman.  

To add insult to injury, this bank never paid the $200 reward for opening this new checking account on December 1.  They refuse to discuss this too.  I urge anyone doing business with or considering doing business with Regions Bank-NOT TO.  Further, a class action lawsuit may be in order here.
