iam not alone in reading these horror stories from the regis salons.how ever i was employed in the d.c.i was employed with regis for three years.every time the issue of a union comes up there is retatlion against any one who agrees with forming a union.if ever a company needs a union its regis. many of the supervisors are racist in their dealings with the assiocates. they foster an enviorment of mistrust.they practice a good ole -boy mentailty. blacks are fired on a  drop of a hat written up for offences that include attendence issues both real and manufacuted by staff. production numbers are often not correct.any black that exceeds their numbers. are often moved from that pick line to pickline. often on unproductive lines. then written up and put on 30 days action plan.this prevents them from signing up for apay for knowledge which is a trap in its self. this allows white associates who have not work long for the company to advance before a person who has been there. they promote people from off the street .as long as they have white skin.

its so blanat thats its not even hidden.they have a so called policy called mutal respect which is a tool to fire people who do not kiss up to them or speak up for their rights as human beings. white asssociates just hired and older ones too.violate this policy on a conssistant base. iwas cursed out by a white assiocate. reported it according to their policy. and was written up to counter my write up by a lying supervisor. i was a  victim and wound before it was over being the aggressor.. i have kept notes times dates on every encounter.the supervisors lie and make up things to write you up on.  they then can work you out of the company they have a saying on their cups regis a great place to work.it is if you are white. iwas fired this year for a mutal respect violation and to this day ido not know who this person is .i was told that several witness heard me.this is a standard lie. iam in contact with former associates who were fired under smilar conditions.all with the lie several witness.a class action suit should and will be filed because this must stop

There's still a LOT of racism in the south

I am black and I have ways lived in the south and I have often seen blacks fired at the drop of a hat for the same offenses whites get a pass for. There is still the belief that blacks are inferior, this manifests itself in how we are treated as so dispensable on jobs; whereas whites are not.

Blacks need to start their own business. If you do hair, surely you can find a vacant building in the black neighborhood and get some business cards made to work for yourself. Stop working for those bigots. Many of the get off on mistreating us.
