This salon has company policy to attend two mand. meetings per mo. While the manager of the salon was gone for his week of vaca and failed to post the meeting time and date on the board in the salon dispensery, he returned from his vaca the day of the meeting. The manager had called atleast one employee and informed her she would have to drive back in town for this mandatory meeting ( she had requested two days off in adv. to go out of town on personal bus.) and if not she would be auto. term. While the manager failed to call me and relay the message.... therefore.... i was terminated. He didnt even give a courtesy call the morn of when he admitted to me that he "forgot" to post or to inform us, and that another employee actually called him the night before and reminded him of the meeting that he had "forgotten". While the employee that was out of town the day before received a call from him between 2-2:30 in the afternoon.       Lets not mention the time i was going to be sent home for having on flip flops (but luckily i had a pair of shoes in my truck) but if you were to walk into that salon right this very moment the stylist that is right beside the manager wears them evday, in a variety of styles and colors (which is against company policey and after we ALL had been warned, i did not wear mine again.)
