Registerfly stole money, disabled account, illegally disabled domain names ripoff Boonton New Jersey
This is the report that I filed with the Trenton, NJ Better Business Bureau:
I attempted to register one domain name and renew one domain name with registerfly.com a few weeks ago. After they failed to provide the domain names but took my money anyway, I informed Paypal of the issue.
Paypal looked at the situation, decided quite correctly in my favor, and got my $18.98 back from Registerfly. However, in retaliation for the Paypal reversal, registerfly.com is now illegally and unethically holding domain names unrelated to this issue hostage in an attempt to force me to pay them money that I obviously do not owe them.
In other words, they are attempting to blackmail me. I have filed a complaint with ICANN and I have alerted Paypal to this situation and urged them strongly not to do further business with Registerfly, Inc.
I am now alerting you, the BBB, to this situation and I hope for a speedy resolution to this issue. I have threatened Registerfly.com with a lawsuit if they do not immediately release my account and my domain names to me, and I fully intend to follow through on that threat if I need to do so.
