I can only recommend staying away from this company.

Their costs are double to triple the cost of their competitors with no additional benefits. I was with another company a few years back and Registrar Corp bought up this smaller customer focused company as they have done similarly other smaller competitors in the industry. I stuck with them for a year after that as they agreed to maintain my previous rate after the new rate renewal had more than doubled in cost with no added benefits.

The biggest watch out is that once renewal time comes they will bombard you with all sorts of renewal scare notices starting up to 4 months in advance. When I simply replied very early on that I have enlisted a competitor (of which I found numerous online with a simple search all with much lower rates) as Registrar Corps prices were 3x the competitor’s price, they offered to come down to only 2x the price. I still declined at which time I thought it was over.

Over the next 4 months I continued to receive calls and emails ratcheting up the urgency for renewal (renewal, or registration with a new company, takes about 1-2 days max to do so why the urgent push 3-4 months ahead?). I persisted a few times to respond that I have gone with another company but that didn't stop the emails. I then phoned and talked to someone who said that they would indicate on my file and stop with harassing emails but that didn't stop.

I then started getting renewal emails with my current username and password published on them. I called them back again and told them that kind of security negligence on a still active customer account was completely unacceptable, forcing me to go online and change my password. They have since continued to regularly send emails with my username and password published in them to prompt me for renewal and that has continued, getting my most recent email sent just today roughly 4 months after telling them I was not going to renew.

All I can tell you is to stay far away from this company who seems far more interested in their own profit than providing an actual customer experience and who have no sense of customer security.
