REI Secrets Stacy Kellams, REI Matcher, Meter Drop Method Took my $97 and did not honor money back guarantee stated in webinar Austin Texas
Bought the Meter Drop Method of real estate investing with Stacy Kellams as I viewed his webinar, thought it would help me. In the webinar he either stated flatly that there was a 30 day guarantee and that money would be returned in 2 days or alluded to such a guarantee. In addition, Stacy (REIsecrets) included me in a program with another company without my permission called REIMatcher which I would assume is associated with his firm. It had a money back guarantee for 45 days or they will hit my credit card for $97 per month.
Requested money back from the Meter Drop program and REIMatcher within time and his girl in support stated I was not in that program and not eligible to receive a refund. I sent a copy of the Email from Stacy Kellams welcoming me into the Meter Drop Method program. She then said the Meter Drop Method program was not a refundable program and that I would have to contact REIMatcher directly to cancel as that was not their program, even though they put me in the program.
All in all, a very frustrating experience as I really wanted that program to work and due to very close family death could not spend the necessary time to see if it would do so. In good faith I spent money that was hard to come by as I am a working senior citizen on a very limited budget. Be aware of Stacy Kellams and his self-proclaimed exertion of being a Real Estate "expert". He and his support team (in particular, a girl by the name of Alexandra Kogen-Van de Ven of REI Secrets) appear to be experts, I just question in what area.
