This is January 2012. During the last 2 years, Reiman Publications has been sending us past due bills for Reminisce magazine, a publication we enjoyed, but discontinued at the end of 2009. The bills come frequently with callouts such as "second notice." This has been going on for almost 2 years. I have called their 800-number and requested they take us off their maillist, and each year (2011 and 2012) they claim to have a phone order. This is not true. Each year they tell us to ignore billing. We do, but it looks bad when our companion staff keeps seeing the false bills marked as though they were past due. Beware of their practice to automatically add a subscription to Reminisce Extra magazine. It appears that this company prays on older people, as many may become concerned about the billing notices and pay for the subscriptions even though they were not ordered. Also note, when you call the 800-number, you will wait on hold for a long time and alternative methods of contacting their company are garbled. Hang in there and you will eventually be able to speak to a person.
