In August of 2012 we had purchased a vehicle from a small car lot who used Reliable Credit for people who were trying to rebuild their credit. The vehicle total prices was under $8,000.00 at time of purchase. We put a downpayment of $2,500.00 and were to make payments of $263 and change. The nightmare began the very next month when I went to make my payment online. That was a Joke! Their website was not even equipped to take online payments, though I was told it was doable. LIE! After 7 days and a $10 online service fee, my payment was finally made. A few short months later, my husbands job was not producing and his income had dropped so our payments were made a few days late as my pay days fell that way from our payment due dates. That is when the harrassing phone calls started, non-stop! And if you didn't answer the phone the first time, they left an automated message, and called the next number on your reference list.

A year later, and 10 months worth of dealing with the wretched people, while also making larger than required payments! We moved to Florida. Due to our move our finances were tight, I started a new job with an Attorneys office where I am currently employed, and my husband had lost his job. I had made payments as best I could at that time but we had fallen behind during the beginning months of this year. In the beginning of June, 2014 my husband and I were finally able to catch up. We paid $1,050.00 in a matter of 6 weeks to these people completely catching our payments up to date and only owing for July. On top of constant, and harrassing phone calls at my work from these people!

This past Monday, August 11, 2014 our vehicle was towed from my work parking lot. When we called. They told my husband they had not received a payment since May. LIE! I obtained the copies from my bank of the checks for our payments that were processed through their bank proving the payments were made. The checks were dated May 31, June 5, and June 20, 2014. When they were provided these copies, Sean had No Response.

While proving there were payments made through June, I also kept a copy of the check I had mailed to them on August 2, in the amount of $300. which to this day has not been processed. Which tells me they have that check sitting on their desk! After 5 phone calls, my husband was finally able to get a payment history faxed to him from Matt. After going over this payment history we discovered they had charged us 33 Late Fees over a course of 23 months. Please explain to me how that works out? I'm not a math wiz, but I do know there are only 24 months in 2 years! NOT 33!!! While Matt is telling my husband, we are behind $384 which is the reason for the reposession. There is the $300 payment that is in limbo, so basically we owed a total of $84 to these people! YES, $84! After going over the report they sent us, we noticed that there is a part that says "credit owed" (to us) So tachnically, we were NOT behind at all! Yet the still towed our vehicle. After non-stop phone calls trying to get a hold of these people to find out our options in getting our vehicle back, because at this point we nearly had it paid off so starting over was not an option! We finally reached Sean again, who told us the only way we can get our truck back was to pay it off. Which totalled almost $4,000.00 including repo fees. Ok, so we made arrangements and told them they would have payoff the next day (Today) by 11 am their time, as soon as they received funds, we would be calling them for the whereabouts of our vehicle. They had no response again, just "Uh's and Um's" Obviously, they ASSUMED we were not capable of paying our vehicle off! After and entire day of phone tag, phone calls, nasty attitudes and smart remarks from Sean and Matt, we finally have our vehicle paid off and sitting in our driveway. Including and additional $120 in storage fees we had to pay, on top of getting a ride 45 minutes away from where to live to pick it up.

These people are liars, they told my husband I told them things I did not and vice versa. All in which, are lies. They harrassed my family for our contact information claiming they did not know where we worked, or lived, or had phone numbers. All lies considering they called my work non-stop, my cell phone, drove past our home numerous times, and found the truck at my work! Hmmm ?? These people are robbers of the poor, and thieves! We financed a vehicle for under $8,000. and paid WELL over that amount just to get it back.

Do NOT under any circumstances use these people for any type of loan! Whether you have bad credit like we did and are trying to build your credit, or just trying to start out with your credit. These people claim they "Deliver services with a smile, with professionalism, and in a manner consistent with how they themselves wish to be treated" but if ever walk into their office on Eagle Rd., the level of "professionalism" you are greeted with at the door is less than that in which you would receive from a teenaged counter clerk at a fast food restaurant!

There is much more detailed information to our story, but you get the gist I think. Dont Use This Company!!!!

In August of 2012 you signed a legal agreement that said you would pay a cetain amount on a certain date for a specific amount of time.  Can you please refer us to the section in that agreement that said if times got "tough" or you didn't have enough money you could just pay what ever you felt like when you felt like it?

Go ahead we will wait...oh you can't find that anywhere in your agreement..Umm shocker.

The ONLY RipOff here is your "sub-prime" attitude that you don't actually have to live up to agreements you make.  I did notice one huge thing.  You say you currently work for an attorney.  But there is NOT one word how there is anything illegal that was done or you were going to sue them.  In fact in the end it appears once you got the car reposessed you came up with the balance and paid it off.  If it was truly illegal don't you think your place of employment would have been more than willing to help you out?  The fact that they didn't speaks volumes as to the validity of your "RipOff".

Let me just point out one other thing...

In the beginning of June, 2014 my husband and I were finally able to catch up. We paid $1,050.00 in a matter of 6 weeks to these people completely catching our payments up to date and only owing for July.

While proving there were payments made through June, I also kept a copy of the check I had mailed to them on August 2, in the amount of $300.

- Do you see the little problem here?  Well let me help you out. Where is any payment for July?  That's right, almost 2 weeks into August and you have a single $300 payment made since June 20th(for those keeping track that is about 6 weeks).  Since your regular payments were $263 that is no where near a double payment.  Even if they did cash the $300 check..you are still behind.  Oh and as for it not being cashed by the 11th. You mailed it on August 2nd, and I bet most likely after the Post office closed.  Meaning the earliest it went out was Monday the 4th.  Most places require 5-10 days to "process" a payment.  Meaning it is quite possible that they had not even received your check by Monday the 11th.

There is much more detailed information to our story, but you get the gist I think.

- Yep I sure do.  You are a "subprime" borrower who is upset that a company that you made a legal obligation to was actually trying to hold you to the agreement you made.
