Chris says he's been serving Long Island for over 18 years, well he has been serving Long Island that's for sure, he's been serving garbage and shoddy work! Chris did a repair on my chimney and when I called him to let him know that the work he did was wrong he hung up on me,then he said he would come by and go through it with me. When he didn't show I called him again, and as soon as I said who I was he hung up the phone and didn't pick up my calls. What a good guy huh? Ronkonkoma, and he lives in Miller Place New York
I had reliable chimney and roofing come to my home and first they installed a chimney cap on my chimney, then I had them do some cement work on my chimney, he said he would give me a new crown and repoint all my top mortar joints and waterproof as well. I called him 7 months later because I still had water leaking from the chimney into my basement. He looked at it and said I needed a new liner that would cost 1125. After some suspision I went on the roof myself to check the crown and it was cracked and all the bricks were loose, I moved them around by hand. When I called Chris to confront him he said when he went on the roof to look at the chimney the previous day that the crown wasn't cracked, so then I suggested that he was implying it had cracked in one day. He hung up on me, so I called again and he agreed to come by the next day at 5:30 pm to go through the work with me. When he didnt show I called Chris and as soon as he heard my name he hung up and wouldn't pick up any of my calls. I then had two mor chimney companies come and look at my chimney and they confirmned that the crown was cracked and all the joints were not right and bricks loose. One of the companies that confirmed this was Chief Chimney Repairs.
