Windows 10 reset, in late December, resulted in loss of 95% of hard drive files. Contacted Reliant, Chris Hudson - owner,  in Winter Haven to arrange for advertised data recovery service. Was advised that Winter Haven office closed on Christmas vacation and to take drive to Lakeland location. After hard drive and back up drive were returned the only data that had been saved were the files that still remained on my hard drive. None of the lost files were recovered.

After 4 more months of 60 mile round trip visits to Reliant's Winter Haven store, and over 10 telephone follow ups, plus several emails, all due to assurances from Chris Hudson that they would be able to find and recover the data and restore the lost files I finally gave up and requested a refund for the data recovery charges ( $50.00). Was told on nemerous occasions that the refund had been credited to my credit card ( never happened) and that a check had been left in the store for me to pick up  (never there).

I will be filing complaints with the BBB (Reliant's rating is already "F" ), Resellerratings.com, and every other appropriate site.  Needless to say my experience with Reliant has been one of great frustration and dissatisfaction. Based on my experience in dealing with the owner, Chris Hudson, his credability is absolutely zero.

Again another person not taking any responsibly for there data being back up! if i could tell you how many times i have listened to this same story . there always some reason over and over. how about instead of being upset with us why not your self  ... perhaps you should have done a back up? instead of expecting us to fix your problems you were told there were no promises of recovery .. just a little info  25% of computer owners will lose all of their data when their computer crashes or is not backed up ... i personally think that's a low number

Regards,

Chris
