I contracted with Relocation LLC to move my personal goods from my home in Tulsa, OK, to my home in Broken Arrow, OK. It was a crew of three men. In the process of moving, they damaged my furniture. One mover, MIKE, asked me to go and buy some glue, so he could do a repair job on it. Also, as I was unpacking all of my boxes I started discovering items missing. I had labeled one box "Priceless Antiques" They weren't really priceless antiques, but they were collectible glassware. Strange, but this one that was labeled as valuable items somehow disappears. As the days go by, I am discovering more items that are missing, such as a power painter, that I had used one time that had been put back in the orignal box. One of the movers, "Mike" had commented that he has a storage building full of valuable items that people had "given" him. Perhaps I unknowingly "gave" some of MY valuables to him. He also mentioned that his brother was building a fence, I guess he needed my power painter to paint that fence.
I notified the owner by phone, and there was no answer, so I left a message. I also left a message on the owner's cell phone. The next day the salesman offered to come and talk to me about it and I gave him a list of what I recalled to be in the box that was missing, and some conservative values for the items. I also showed him the damaged furniture, a buffet, and he noted the damage. The salesman said he knows these people and they would never steal anything. I had asked if they background check their employees, but I received no response. He said they would be getting back with me. That was 15 days ago. I also filed a police report for the larceny that had taken place. I have heard nothing from the moving company. I trusted a moving company, but instead I was ripped off in a big way, a very personal way.

The Better Business Bureau informed the previous owner of the company that Don found the items that he thought he was missing . It would be good to be sure before sounding a "false alarm"
