This company employs a bunch of crooks and con men. I was contacted by a guy called Sammy who overpromised everything - he kept on saying my guys will pick up your stuff and send it to your destination in no time - my guys are the most professional, my guys, my guys.

On the date of the scheduled relocation, his guys did not even show up. They showed up late the next day and were clueless as to what they were supposed to pick up and where to deliver it to. From the time of the delivery, Sammy or Sam disappeared. He stopped answering his calls and text messages.

Then I get a call from one of the guys who picked up my stuff saying that the cost of my move has gone up by 30% when I had asked Sam multiple times - is your estimate good enough? He said as long as your items don't change drastically, this estimate will not change by a large amount. My items remained the same, but the estimate changed.

Since Sammy was not around suddenly, another guy called Carl started calling me and asking for a 50% deposit. I had already paid 25% on signing of the contract. He now wanted 50% of the revised amount without any supporting documentation. When I refused to pay that amount, he said ok then come to pick up your stuff and hung up on me.

Minutes later he realized that he had missed out a major detail in his rip off scheme - he called back and said if you want to pick your stuff up you have to pay us 800 bucks for the work that we did on your shipment. Now I know that they picked up my stuff but 800 was too much to charge for it. When I started arguing with him on this he started shouting at me and said ok then you're not getting your stuff back. Ideal attitude for the employee of a company that provides services. I felt as if I was in a third world country.

They have crooked guys, not honoring their commitments, on top of that they are rude and demand payments within minutes to move to the next step of the process - and all this over the phone. When I suggested to come over and discuss this he had said we are far away in Rochester will you come all the way here just to talk about this and submit payment?

Is there no recourse available to a customer for the malpractice of a company like this?

Is there no law in this country that protects customers' rights without emptying their pockets?
