I am a senior citizen with a limited budget wanting to relocate back to the state I came from three years ago.  I contacted The Remax Treasure Island Office and Remax Metro Office of Peter Nemethy, Realtor.

The Treasure Island Office and Lori Muller whom I dealth with for several weeks, never returned calls, lied about contacting other realtors and finally I gave up. I then called Peter Nemethy himself and he referred me to Remax Metro his St. Petersburg office and Michelle

when I indicated I had seen a condo and wanted to put in an offer on.  I called her and it took over a week to get a contract typed because the contract was changed and signed many, many, times over the course of a couple of weeks.  I had an urgent timeline to buy and the condo had been vacant for 6 months and I was paying cash.  Michelle, the transaction

coordinator (he has no real estate agents working in that office) constantly blamed the listing agent and certainly was not trying to give me good buyer service from the firm.  She allowed the listing agent to dictate and tell her what to do.  Due to prior commitments I was unable to close on a stated date and ask for an extension.  Michelle had me sign the extension and said she sent it to the listing agent but I never received either written or verbally that the extension was granted.

Instead on the supposed date of closing the Title company sent documents and Asked for the wire trransfer of the money when I was leaving for my appointments.  Michelle lied and said the listing agent said the new listing date was ok and then called her the night before the first closing date and said they had to close that day.  When I said I could not, they bribed me with $600.00 credits if I closed that date and said I would not get the credits otherwise for the things needed done in the

condo due to an inspection of the property.  I could not comply and cancelled the contract.  The title company and the listing agent sent me an email saying they still wanted to sell me the condo and to call them.  I wanted the condo and a new contract was written and sent in incorrectly by Michelle.  I called Peter Nemethy who never returned my call.  The new contract was sent to the listing agent who never responded even though I was leaving Arizona in less than a week and had no place to move into.  The listing agent stalled and said her clients didn't have time to read the second contract.  I then

said I was cancelling the contract even though I had no home and was moving the 23rd of the month.  I was never called

by the realtor to straighten this out and this was a nightmare experience I had never had with realtors before. They do not care about their clients unless they are millionaires and then I guess Mr. Nemethy handles the ccontract.  I had had six homes and two condos throughout my life and this group did not know what they were doing, lied, did not stick up for the client me, a cash buyer which should have taken one week and has not ended yet after three weeks.  I give them NO stars,

they are the worst I have ever experienced.
