Remax riped off of $85; promised to refund the money, but agent resigned Richardson Texas
We paid Remax a small deposit of earnest money in January 2005. After the agent, Ms. Jeunenne Peebles failed to file our offer on a house, causing us to lose it, we changed companies. She promised to refund the money, and until this day we are still waiting.
We contacted the head broker, Jeff Stone, and he has done nothing about it. He has just laughed in our face, stating "that agent no longer works here, and tough-luck if you lost your money."
This agent took Real Estate intended money for her own personal use. I was informed by a very reliable source that this was very illegal, and that herself, and the head broker could lose their license. Mr. Stone knew about this all along as well.
I have notified the Texas Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, Texas Real Estate Commission and informed them that the Richardson, Texas office has embezzled money from customers. We are also planning legal action to collect our money, and a deeper issue that I will not discuss on the internet...
Hey, something has got to be done, this practice IS NOT acceptable by any standards. EVERYBODY LISTEN.....REMAX is nothing...nothing but a bunch of crooks and thieves.....AVOID THEM like the plague!!!!!
