Remedy Intelligent Staffing Remedy intelligent staffing doesn't want Intelligent people working for them Omaha Nebraska
I went through 2 weeks of jumping through hoops in Remedy's screening process for a job in customer service at Mutual of Omaha. I had to complete the application on their website, as well as take tests online for data entry and typing.I was called and told I had to come into the office and complete more paperwork, take a remedial written test on addition, subtraction, multiplication (which any elementary child could do) and wordmatching.
I went through an interview and filled out all the necessary paperwork , received a payment card from global which they used to pay wages. I then had to shadow at Mutual and went over more training material. They also insisted on a copy of my GED which I felt was strange since I am in my forties and received my GED in 1988.Since then I went back to school and received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
Then 3 days before I was scheduled to start they had all 14 of us attend orientation at Remedy. This basically consisted of saliva tests, going over more rules, parking, and handing out schedules. The 1st month they told me I would train for 4 weeks and work 8:30 to 5:00 then I was given a schedule after training for 2 months afterwards to work 9:30 to 6:00. I thought I had this temporary job and I was really looking forward to it .
Then I received a call @ 7pm Sunday night, the day before I was to start my assignment and was informed that I was not to go to this job because they didn't feel it was a good fit for me or for Mutual of Omaha.
As a matter of fact I was told that not only was I not a good fit for this job they did not think I was a good fit for Remedy. When I asked why, I was told it was because on Thursday @3:00 when I gave him the copy of my GED, I was questioning him about it and asked why they needed it and why they had to photocopy it to put in their file, (I also brought my college transcripts but he wasn't interested in those), His boss overheard our discussion. I guess it is a no no to ask too many questions so they needed to dispose of me before I started.
