We hired Alexander Corro of Remodeling Kings Corp to do several home improvement jobs.  He showed us pictures of his work, quoted a price, and gave us an estimate of when the jobs would be completed.  We started with replacing 3 doors in our home, day 1 he and his partner spent the whole day working on the doors and made a lot of progress in the time that they spent.  We paid him for half the work and that he would come back the next day to finish.  He called us with some family emergency the next day and that he would not be able to come back for a couple of days.  Several days later to continue to work on the doors but never finished.  Because of the sob story he gave us we gave him the full amount of the cost for the door repairs with the expectation that he would eventually finish it some time.  Foolish of us, we continue to give him work such has repainting the laundry room, ceiling, patching up holes in walls, garage, driveway, house repainting, none of the jobs completed.  He referred us to someone to have our roof done, they ended up taking half our money and leaving half the work done.  We've called several times to complain about the incomplete jobs and he sends us a text message saying he can no longer work with us.  So now we're stuck with incomplete home repair jobs and an unfinished roof.  BEWARE of this company and anyone associated with Alex.  We should have known better when he told us that his own mother-in-law wouldn't refer him for jobs...

We entered into a home remodeling contract with Alexander Corro and King's Painting back in October of 2016. He started work, slowly and poorly advising wife was having medical issues. Asked for another payment to hire additional workers to get caught up which we mistakenly did. He left our home destroyed!

I filed a civil complaint in Broward County hoping to recover my damages and gain a judgement after reading I wasn't the only one he breached contract with; so thank you for posting your experience. I am happy to say after 2yrs in the legal process the court agreed and awarded judgement against Mr. Corro and King's Painting.

Alex Was A No Show

Since the last update Alex promised that he would return to complete the job, sent his people to attempt to collect money from me, scheduled appointments to meet but he was a no show. I ended up going with another contractor with an A+ rating on BBB to complete his jobs.  Alex, if you're reading this, I will be seeing you in court.

Since writing the report, we were contacted by Alex a week later who apologized for leaving us hanging and will return to complete the jobs he started.  So we will provide updates once the jobs are completed and post pictures of completed work.
