Complaint Review: René Orozco

Este señor se hizo pasar por abogado, comentó que es especialista en inmigración y que trabaja ayudando a la comunidad latina, mencionó que es una persona con amplia experiencia y que está retirándose de su labor ayudando gente en asuntos de inmigración, le pregunté si era abogado y me dijo que sí, me hizo unas preguntas, me dijo que podía ayudarme a resolver mi caso de 3 ó 4 formas distintas, dijo que era muy fácil y que teníamos que reuinirnos para hacerme un contrato y comenzar con mi caso. Me pidió $7,500 dólares para hacer su trabajo, me dijo que podía haberle abonos y que necesitaba por lo menos $2,500 dólares para comenzar porque dijo que era mucho trabajo y que había mucho que hacer. El día de la cita se excusó diciendo que no traía el contrato porque venía de otro lugar, pero que en la siguiente reunión me daría le contrato. Lueog de que le pagué los cheques me dijo dio una tarjeta para hacerle preguntas, pero en la tarjeta no decía que fuera abogado, así que le pregunté de nuevo si era abogado, luego me dijo que no, que era paralegal. Si hubiera sabido que no era abogado no le habría dado ni un centavo, pero confié porque me dijo un par de días antes que era abogado y especialista en inmigración. En se momento sentí mucha desconfianza, pero ya le había pagado, luego me dio otra cita y quería más dinero, dijo que no había comenzado nada, que porque yo tenía que pagar más dinero para que comenzara a hacer su labor, tampoco me dio el contrato otra vez, se excusó otra vez diciendo que venía de otro lugar y que no había tenido tiempo, además se llevó mis originales de un expediente que yo tenía y dijo que iba sacar copias, cosa que nunca hizo, le reclamé que me devolviera mi dinero y mis documentos originales que le entregué y se hizo el ofendido. Yo me di cuenta que es un estafador porque encontré varios reportes y evidencias en esta página y en otras páginas de su dudosa reputación, me asesoré legalmente y le solicité mis documentos y mi dinero por escrito,  hasta la fecha no me ha devuelto ni mi dinero ni mis documentos. Un estafador que tiene acusaciones en Las Vegas y en Santa Ana, California.

After I paid him the checks, he told me he gave me a card to ask him questions, but the card didn't say he was a lawyer, so I asked him again if he was a lawyer, then he said no, he was a paralegal.

If he had known that he was not a lawyer he would not have given him a penny, but I trusted because he told me a couple of days before that he was a lawyer and an immigration specialist. At that time I felt a lot of mistrust, but I had already paid him, then he gave me another appointment and wanted more money, he said that he had not started anything, that because I had to pay more money for him to start doing his work, he did not give me the contract again, he excused himself again saying that he came from another place and that he had not had time, in addition he took my originals from a file that I had and said that he was going to make copies, which he never did, I demanded that he return my money and my original documents that I gave him and he pretended to be offended.

I realized that he is a scammer because I found several reports and evidences on this page and on other pages of his dubious reputation, I took legal advice and asked him for my documents and my money in writing, to date he has not returned even my money nor my documents. A scammer who has indictments in Las Vegas and Santa Ana, California.
