Ren-Tel Services ripoff fraud business/scam/con artists Wauwatosa Wisconsin
I discovered Ren-Tel Services through an ad they placed in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Ren-Tel Services guarantees to find you a house/apartment within 90 days of signing up with their service. They tell you that they look for you, for just $80.00. We were informed that the search they perform for us would be tailored to our needs.
The truth is this: All this company does is operate a hotline. Everyone calls the same numbers and listens to the same recording of available properties. We told them that we had to have a property that would allow us to have a dog. Everytime that we called the hotline and listened to the updated listings, maybe a third of them allowed dogs. And of the third, almost always they were out of our price range.
We used their service for 90 days with no luck, so we tried it for an additional 10 days, with no luck. At this time we wrote them requesting a refund. After no hearing anything back from them for almost a month, I called them. No return call was made on their part. So I went to their office and spoke to Eric, who never has a clue. Only after I did that was I called by Mary and told that we didn't qualify for a refund because the request had to be made within 90 days of signing up with their service. So we were penalzied for using their service longer than what was required, and by only 10 days!
This company rips people off. They claim to look for a property that suits your needs but they do no such thing. This company isn't listed in any phone book. The only address they give you is a PO Box. They do not return your phone calls. Does this sound like a good comapny? Sounds like a company that doesn't want to be found.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!

The service is for 90 days they sound cheap, the problem is with this kind of service if you really want thorough one on one you have to pay more these services can only provide a good a service as the funds you pay allow, you use them for 100 days or 3 months and 10 days and then expect a refund do you guarantee you looked at EVERY single property EVERY day on TIME during those 100 days.
If not how do you expect to be sucessful and why blame them?
Do you expect them to work for you for free because you did not look at every property every day or a couple of times you perhaps laid in and said Ill start next week?
If they were really to increase services you would never pay the extra so they are restricted in what they do, for $80 for 90 days you not only want all the new information daily but your also expecting someone to sit there daily to pick up the phone when you call at anytime over 90 days!
No law about not being listed in tel directory!
No law about using a P.O Box as a mail address practicaly the whole country uses one including American Express!
You say it sounds like a company that does not want to be found but you say you walked into their office, 'Think about that one'.
