When Renewal by Andersen advertised their Window Replacement we confirmed an appointment for a salesman to come to our home for the presentation.  It was clear from the beginning that the Windows were the best on the market and also the most expensive window to purchase according to their salesman.  To continue we were made aware of that again and we could call of the sales presentation at that point.  We continued on. They were very expensive and almost twice if not more as much as another leading Window manufacture. However we decided to invest in our home and had the windows replaced.  Very nice energy efficent windows and very good installation.

Several months had gone by (about three) when the same windows by the same company advertised them for 20% off in the same paper. I was quite irritated and contacted the local company sales office and met with their manager at our home. My complaint to him was that apparently their windows were'nt as good as they advertised. Why else would they be discounted only after a few months.  To me it meant that we overpaid for the windows and we should have been given some sort of rebate or credit. Explanations from the manager said we had already received a 23% discount it just did'nt show on the contract. How convenient. I was not buying and was not satisfied. He did offer us 30% off one of their doors as a peace offering which I declined and the meeting was over.

Now a few months have since past (about 2 or 3) and they now offer these windows for 50% off and 50% off installation. This really is a poor sales approach and I can say without hesitation I do have a very nice windows and the installation was very good. I can also say I would not advise anyone to purchase these windows unless you are being assured the price will not take a downward plunge only to promote their sales. If they get any lower I may consider legal action.

In summary we purchased the best windows on the market according to their salesman. Bottom line is that we overpaid by almost twice their worth according to their recent advertisements.  Be Aware.
