Reno McCall is an "account manager" for National merchant Services operating in the Jackson, Mississippi area. we signed a credit card processing agreement with him recently. He clearly stated, with 2 witnesses, that there would be no charge for the credit card terminal so long as it was not damaged.

the following week, i recieved a letter from first data global leasing (FDGL, look them up, they're on here) informing me i was leasing the equipment for $39.99 per month for 48 months in a non-cancellable lease. that's roughly $1920 for an ingenico ict220 terminal with external pin pad (you can buy all of this equipment brand new for $250-300)

when i called and repeatedly asked for a copy of this supposed lease, it was finally faxed. the document was edited after signing in what is obviously Reno McCall's handwriting after everything was signed. thankfully i kept copies of everything i signed and have evidence that these documents were edited after signing.

i called Reno McCall on many occasions over the period of a month. he mostly ignored my voice messages, and twice set appointments to meet with me and never showed. i have given this "man" every opportunity to rectify his indiscretion and will now seek legal action

I'm new to running a business, since my father retired. i may have learned an expensive lesson, but Reno McCall has made a very costly mistake.
