Hi Keith, I work at RAC and we dont require big down payments or deposits or a credit history, but we do require that customers pay on time and we work to make that really clear when we discuss the agreements with the customers. Going forward, late fees apply when a payment is late, but we require that you make the first payment on time. Please call our Customer Care line at 1-800-422-8186 so we can help address the situation.

It's funny how you go to a place and they allow you to take some merchandise on your promise that you will make payments on it on specific days for specific amounts.  But once you have it "in hand" you have no problem with trying to change the terms to what YOU want to do.  Then when they try to hold you accountable you want to go to the Attorney General.

When you go to the AG I am sure they will want to see the contract so you can point out where it states that you don't have to make your payments when you are out of town.

Here is a thought Einstein, how come you didn't have your wife pay for it?  I mean you do trust your wife don't you?  I am sure if you left a check for her she would have made the payment.  I bet you could have even trusted her with the business credit card.  As for giving your credit card number over the phone.  It is not like these people are calling you out of the blue.  You know who they are and there is nothing more that they could do with the credit card over the phone that they couldn't do if you gave it to them in person.

The guy won't come back, they seldom ever do. But just by happenstance he does I'd suggest he learn what a period is and to use them.

Jethro,

Just because your not home doesn't mean you cannot get out of paying your bills.... If you paid what you owed then you wouldn't experience what you did. The only scam is you not paying your bills. Something tells me you running a meth lab out of your singlewide does not contitute "running a business". I have a feeling your actually in Florida visiting a pain clinic to get your Oxy supply. I suggest you submit a post on Rip Off Report telling us how the West Virginia School System failed you.  I do have a question for you there Enos. If you get divorced in West Virginia, Does that still make you brother and sister?

Okay, you are a business owner and you are "renting" a computer?  Pay your bills and quit your complaining.  What kind of business do you own and why can't you afford to just buy a computer if you can afford to run a business and travel out of town?  Nice try Corky.
