WATCH OUT FOR THESE PEOPLE!!!
I went and looked at a house today that was for "rent" by Audrey M. Lombardi, as soon as I arrived red flags went off everywhere. First off, Audrey did not even post the correct address, the one I ended up getting directions to was on a totally different road that the posted ads. Second, she didn't know the exact price it would be rented for at first. Third, the house was in very poor shape and she stated they could not get the powere turned on so she had to show it in the daylight. Fourth, she wanted not application, only a $1400 deposit. All she cared about was getting money from someone. I ask her when would they make the repairs to the home such as the walls, floors and wall paper. She stated they would not make ANY repairs and that it would be up to us if we wanted to repair anything. I knew right away this was a scam and told my husband NO WAY.
The sad thing is there was another family there who seemed to be getting suckered by her. Those poor people. As soon as I came home I took out her free printed business card she is using and went right to work on finding out about Audrey. That is how I came acoss. Not only that but she has several homes for rent in Apopka, FL. and they come back to business' not homes. I am going to call them all and the every local news here in Orlando and make sure she does not scam some poor family out of their hard earned money and make sure the next time she posts on Craigslist EVERYONE knows who she is. A CON WOMAN!!!

I rented an apartment from Rent A Home in Altamonte Springs, FL from 2005 to 2007. The apartment was in excellent conditions. I had a good experience dealing with this company. In one occasion my refrigerator broke down and within a few hours a technician came to fix it.

Hello, I have been a resident of Rent A Home for nearly 10 years now and I have received nothing but excellent service. Any problem with my residence has received prompt and courteous attention from Mr. Lorie and his employees. Whoever feels the need to bad mouth this business/individual has nothing else better to do with their life than to try to ruin someone's livelihood. I suggest you get your facts straight and you will see that Mr. Lorie & Rent A Home are both great and they would not have been providing wonderful customer service for so many years if they were not.

My name is Pelayo R. Lori and I am a managing member of Rent A Home, LLC. The allegations made by Mrs. Justice are a vicious, groundless personal attack. I want to clarify a few items as follows: I am an attorney in good standing in Puerto Rico. I was also a judge for several years with an excellent reputation. I have never been investigated for improper conduct. I have never had a criminal record; otherwise, my license would have been revoked or at a minimum suspended. I have never had a domestic violence incident in my life. Someone who needs to hide her identity because she is not telling the truth has done this personal attack with the mere purpose of destroying my reputation. I welcome the person that wrote this report to present to me the ways in which she thinks I have wronged her or to retract from these false allegations.
Rent A Home, LLC has policies & procedures that are within the rental industry standards to deal with property damages, breach of lease and lack of rental payment. We cannot do business if we do not request our tenants to comply with the rental agreement that they sign. In summary the renter agrees to take good care of the property, timely pay the rent and not to move out before the lease is over. After move out, when the lease has been complied with and the property is returned in the same conditions it was delivered, the security deposit is returned according to Florida Statutes.
