This a copy of what I sent to dollar- thirfty (Rent a Terstappen)I just received a letter and invoice from our recent trip to Germany, We had rented a car from the Dusseldorf airport on the 7 of March 2012. thou the 21 March 2012. The invoice stated we had NEW damage upon returning the car, first of all we were not shown or informed of any new damage when we checked in the car at the airport.  We also were not informed of new damage when we turned in the invoice to the counter or from the worker who received the car.  We are disputing this charge of 713.40 Eur that price is way out of range for what was considered new damage, which we did not damage. We never had a walk around the car with agent upon renting to show any existing damages or a form for us to mark any damages. When we turned the car back in we were not given anything for us show prior damage.  I think the is wrong to charge us so much money for something that was not done right.  In the states when you rent a car you walk around the car to note prior damage with the agent, upon returning the car exactly the same. This was not done so whose to say that damage is NEW.Can you help us dispute these charges they have already charged our credit card and have been paid 713.40 EurThe name on the credit card is my Wife's
