What a rip off. Refund refused on technicality.

They make bookings as agents on behalf of several car hire companies and they take payment online. If for any reason the booking is not accepted by the car hire company, carrental.com would refuse a refund, saying you should have read the terms and conditions.

In this case the car rental company required a deposit for the card but refused my debit card. Because I did not a have a credit card the transaction could not be completed.
