Replays advertises they "buy, sell and trade" DVD's, CD's and games. They do not. I have been there twice and they have refused to purchase from me. I have been given several excuses, but the bottom line is they falsely advertise what their business really is. They were willing to SELL me something and they were willing to TRADE me for my items but in no way were they willing to BUY my goods. They need to remove "BUY" from their ads, and from their store window. If you are wondering what I was wanting to sell, I had some classic CD's and some new titles, some DVD box sets and some new releases. Most were purchased in retail stores such as Walmart, Best Buy and Blockbuster. NONE of them were junk. If you are wondering why I wanted to sell these items, I thought it would be a great way to get some extra cash. I am not homeless, on drugs, or out of work. If anyone has had a similar experience with this location or one of their other branches, I would love to hear from you. SELLERS beware! Don't waste your time.

Hey dumba*s,

Replays stopped carrying CDs years before you even filed this report. Maybe you should inform yourself of the facts before you get on the internet and make a fool of your d**n self. I have been a customer at Replays for years in both Tuscaloosa and Hueytown. I have been selling my games and DVDs to them for years and never had a problem.

Sure, the occassionally cannot purchase a random item or two but it's rare and they always explain to me why. Its almost invariably because they already have to many of the item I brought in. They then explain to me I am free to bring the items back in a week or so after they have sold down on those items.

Just because you are an ignorant dumbass doesn't mean you are entitled to lie about those guys. You said they don't buy at all, well how the hell do you think they got all he inventory on the walls? THEY BOUGHT IT FROM PEOPLE. I have made a TON of money selling them things over the years. Your garbage was most likely defective. They WANT to buy stuff. It's how they make a living. Put your crack pipe away and grow up.

I think Replays kicks a*s. I wish they would kick yours.

Are you completely childish?

Sir or Madam, whoever posted this, you are just being childish. I have sold movies and game systems to them. They are similar to a pawn shop or variety store. If they have TOO much of a certain product they won't buy another, it's called supply and demand, one of the basics this economy is based on. There are two possibilities why you dvd's weren't taken. 1. They already had too many of that type of individual's of that set. Some days they even turn down people who are offering to sell xbox's because they already have too much in supply. 2. The dvd box set you had you asked for an outrageous price for a sellback and instead of arguing with you, they divulged the situation by saying they can't take it. They haven't been taking Cd's for a couple months now because they are over stocked. Once they sell what they have they will GLADLY buy more. No I am not an employee there, but I am a consumer. Just the other day I sold several items there, Final Fantays 8 for the ps1, Dark Alliance for the xbox, an xbox controller, a playstation 2, and Puppet Masters Curse of the puppet master. Do you know WHY my items were bought? Because what I had they were in low stock of and could sell easily. Puppet Master, being a good movie, isnt seen that often anymore and will sell quickly espcially to a horror fanactic. Final fantasy 8 was a good game and most gamers can't wait to get there hands on it, same with Dark Alliance. And i have been selling games and game systems to them for about 2 months now, sure they turn down a couple items because they're overstocked, but that doesn't mean im going to go around on the internet and lie about them to get them bad business. Just because they didn't take your dvd's doesnt mean you gotta act like a child and bash them and most importantly LIE about their business and give them a bad name. Get all your facts before blabbing nonsense. In short, grow up and don't get mad because you didn't get your way.
