Complaint Review: Replica2U

Replica2U Rep2U $500 Down the Drain - No Product, No Refund Internet

Id like to relate my experience with an online Replica watch company known as Replica2U, located at www.replica2u.com, and also known under the name of Luxury Replica.Their website is well laid out, and their pricing seemed reasonable compared to other watch sites, so I placed an order with them on July 15, 2010 for a watch that was listed at $422.00.

As I checked out, I was informed that there would be a $35 shipping charge. This was annoying, as I personally have shipped watches to China for $13.So already, I was being gouged on the shipping for more profit. The completed order was then sent to a transfer site, where the $457 was changed into a foreign currency that I was not familiar with. When I checked my bank account the next day, I found that $511 USD had been transferred from my credit card a far cry from the original $422!

It took 12 days for the watch to arrive, and when it did, I was sorely disappointed. The watch looked 20 years old, the gold was like tarnished brass, the bracelet was stiff, and when I shook the watch to wind it, it would run for 5-10 minutes and then stop. The watch was old, cheap, and completely non-functional.

I immediately wrote to Rep2U, asking for a full refund. They responded three days later:

Please put it back into 2 plastics as what we send and use bubble wrap to wrap the item and put in bubble envelope to sent back to us. No need to sent with the wooden box (if any).

Please state repair item on the consignment note. Do not state watch brand name to avoid from custom block. If using Registered Post, please add an insurance on it.

I then wrote to them saying that I did not want the watch replaced, but refunded. This letter was ignored.I wrote again, and again was ignored.A week later I wrote again and was told that they would replace the watch. No reference to or even acknowledgement that they had received my request for a refund.

The watch was useless, so, even though I realized that shipping the watch back would mean that they would have both the watch and the money, I returned it.A month later (September) I had heard nothing I wrote, and was ignored. No response.A month later (October) I wrote specifically asking for a response.Twelve days later, I received this:

Hi,

We are waiting for new stock to come. We will keep you update.

Thanks.

Note: your domain is blocking our email address.

-The last line, their excuse for me not receiving email from them; which obviously isnt true, because I received it in an email from them. But, just to be sure, I checked the spam folder at my email server, as well as the spam folder on my own computer nothing.

At the end of November, I wrote one last time, requesting a refund and telling them to put me on a notification list such that when the watch comes in, I can purchase it then.It is now December 18, and I have received no response.

This company realizes that they are well hidden on the other side of the world from most of us, and they feel that they will suffer no consequences by just keep hundreds of dollars of customers money and ignoring them.

Please keep in mind, if you are looking at their site, that the price they are showing will swell to almost A HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE by the time the money is taken from your account this could be 25 50% percent more than you expected to pay. They have no problem shipping absolute junk, and they will ignore all requests for customer service.I am now out more than $500 from a purchase made almost six months ago, and have absolutely nothing.Dont let this happen to you. There are far better, more trustworthy sites out there, and I recommend you DELETE Replica2U and Luxury Replica from your list.

Thank you for your confirmation

#6REBUTTAL Individual responds

Thank you, you have just confirmed (for all to see) that in fact you owe me a refund.  It seems odd to me that you would call me a liar and then outline the conditions for me to receive a refund.  Huh...?

Look, I'm not lying.  I'm simply describing exactly what happened to me in this transaction.  I wrote to you many times asking for a watch or a refund.  I got no response.  You offered to replace my watch.  I sent it back and got no response.  I then wrote to you and warned you that I would honestly report this experience if I did not receive a watch or a refund.  No response.  I then sent you a copy of the exact text that I was going to publish, and asked you - RECOMMENDED that you - replace the watch or I would publish this information.  I still received nothing.  Did you think I was kidding?  You were warned over and over!

Your cavalier attitude changed when you realized that the world CAN be aware of your business practices, and no, I'm not kidding.  Let's review:

You list a watch for $422 that ends up costing $511 by the time the money is deducted from my account - that's just taking advantage of a customer.

You ship a watch that looks - or IS - nothing at all like the watch in the photos - that's fraud.

You then tell me to ship the watch back and you will replace it.  You keep my watch AND my money.  That's theft.

I, on the other hand, paid promptly; communicated effectively; returned the watch at your request; made my intentions clear and gave you plenty of warning about this listing.  I told you what the effect would be to your business, and how this would spread around the internet and come up in any search.  You ignored me, until I did exactly what I said I was going to do.

So you have taken advantage, lied, and stolen - and now you are laying down conditions for ME to get what is rightfully mine from YOU...?  Did I just move to another planet or something...?

I told you several times that you would be foolish to lose THOUSANDS of dollars in business over a few hundred dollars - especially when you have both the watch and the money anyway - but you just keep ignoring me.  Do you think I'm going to stop?  The internet will be COVERED with honest reports about this transaction by the end of the year.  You had a chance to prevent this (several times), but you just keep on ignoring me.

So now, your options continue to get worse.  Whatever you do, I will continue to report for all the world to see.  If you issue me a full refund, everyone will know, and your reputation will be saved.  If you send a partial refund, because you seem to think that it's a better business decision to lose thousands of dollars and keep a hundred, that's your choice.  And if I continue to get your excuses and "conditions" - well, I've nothing more to lose at this point, and I'll just keep on making the world aware of what's going on.

Can I make a suggestion (again)?  Why don't you put your ego aside, think like a businessman, and just send a $522 refund.  I've bought several watches from reputable dealers at this point, and I'm sorry, but I really don't need this watch 9 months later.  There was a time when I would've accepted the watch (and told you that several times) but I'm afraid that window has closed, and you missed it.  I have been completely honest with you up to this point, and you can believe me again (just like before) that if I get a refund, I will report it on all of these sites, and you will be back in business.  Thank you.

This person is a LIAR. he want this and that. when we agree, he changed his mind and want this. when we agree including asking him to remove all complaint, he silent and block our email address.

What we can conclude about this person as he is a LIAR, SNAKE. We note it here that we want to refund (you still insist to get the item) with below conditions:

1. Refund is through Western Union where you can get the money instantly after deducting transfer charges.
2. The refund amount is only at the item cost as the shipping cost already burned.
3. You need to delete this complaint/posting and all postings in other websites.
4. We are giving 14 days form you to response from this date (29 April 2011). If no news, we will no longer entertaint your complaint and we will treat this complaint as a SCAM and FRAUD complaint.

Thanks you.

Still no return still no watch!

#6Author of original report

It is now April 2011, more than nine months since I ordered this watch.  I'm amazed these guys actually had the nerve to coment at this site - you can rationalize all you want, but I still have no money and/or no watch!  Replica2U has my money AND my watch.  I can't seem to justify that as anything BUT theft.  Has anyone else had a problem with these watch companies?

Customer refuse for refund

#6REBUTTAL Owner of company

Wed, February 02, 2011

After several emails discussion and replies, the customer refused to get the refund when we want to refund after deducting the shipping cost that we incurred. Customer don't want to follow the Return Policy: http://www.replica2u.com/return-policy/info_7.html that has been reviewed and agreed by the credit card processor.

The customer still want the item (still gold plated) where he not satisfy with the gold plated whereas, we already agreed for refund and to close this dispute.

We are keeping his emails for any proof as he already blocking/delete our email. We are not sure that this dispute is closed or otherwise.

Thanks.

Hi,

We are so sorry for the late reply and delayed. We also would like to thank you for the promotion.

We are going to ship the replacement after Chinese New Year. Please do understand that the Yellow Gold Plated is Plated not true Gold. Please do refer to the product page for details. The reason you send the item back is because of the gold plated. The gold plated is gold plated. We can't make it as real gold, so the color is like that whether to select other item or other model.

The thing is, we don't Scam or whatever it is. Your item is yours, not our and sure you will get it back.

The other thing, please do not treat our email to your SPAM folder or block our domain name. That is why you never receive our email. So, please do not so blame on us.

We do hope you understand.

Thanks.
