Complaint Review: Reportage RGA Fake Clothing

So I got ripped off in this scam as well. Italian guy, looking for directions to Lincoln Tunnel, Breitling watch, smooth talker, picture of his son on his phone. Rental car with due date of 10/14/08, plane ticket with 10/10/08 fly out date. His car keys even had one of those rental key chains that said $250 if key was lost.

Typical story - coming from Jacob Javits center after some show. Didn't want to pay taxes, etc. I'm not sure why but the guy also wanted to go dancing after he said he was not gay. Sucks to be scammed but it could have been worse.

Since the guy want to hang out so much, I managed to get him to call me from his phone so that I would get his number. It is 9173311805. I tried reverse phone lookup but the name is unlisted. The carrier appears to be Blue Licenses Holding, Llc. I'm sure the phone wont work anyway.

If they can pull off this scam so well, I'm sure the guy wont be found. And to think, I was skeptical for about 10-15 minutes and was about to look up the clothing line online when my blackberry internet browser crashed. Could have saved me 500 but at least I have 4 fake leather jackets now. They are actually nice but have a strong smell and probably wont last.
