for K-Byte TC1-USB-128K purchases from Tiger Direct

Dana, You allege I only sent a photocopy of the UPC bar code.

Your are either mistaken or lying !
I sent the original UPC bar code securely taped to the photocopy of the package and contents ( NOT the photocopy of the UPC bar code! ).
You're response E-Mail (below) proves you received my REBATE form.

I have already reported you and your company to the FTC, Consumer Affairs, Attorney Generals, Tiger Direct, and Reptron Inc.

Since rebate companies, like yours, have a reputation for cheating people, and since you acknowledge receiving my REBATE form in the letter below, I'm sure I have ample evidence to prove you and your company has committed fraud.

$20.00 is not really worth my time to deal with this, but it's the principal and I despise low-life cheatin' REBATE run-around companies (which is why I have reported you to the several agencies). If enough victims report your fruadulent activity, the more likely you and your company will be prosecuted.

I purchased a K-Byte TC1-USB-128K USB Mobile Drive, on 9/3/2003 for $39.99
at Tiger Direct at www.tigerdirect.com (see address above) .

My decision to purchase this product was based upon your offer of a mail-in rebate of $20.00 .
My purchase of the product constituted my acceptance ("acceptance") of your offer, creating a binding and enforceable contract between us.

I have performed my obligations under the contract. I paid the full purchase price and then proceeded to fill in the rebate form provided by you. I included all information requested to process my rebate, but to date I have not received a check in the amount of $20.00 .

I respectfully request you process payment and mail it to me at the address indicated within 30 days. I have re-attached all information originally sent for your convenience.

Unless I receive this rebate, I will cease to purchase products from Tiger Direct and K-Byte, and I'll share my experience everywhere possible on the internet (just the facts).

Also, If I do not receive payment in full by (date 30 days from mailing), I will begin legal proceedings against you and will file complaint reports with the Federal Trade Commission, the Attorneys General of the states of Texas and New York, as well as selected consumer advocacy publications and local and state consumer affairs departments.

I am sending copies of this letter to these agencies and organizations to encourage your compliance. I am also filing a report with ConsumerAffairs.Com for inclusion on their Web site.

Thank you for your prompt attention and resolution of this matter.
