I rerceived a call from Will Davies, who said he worked for Republic Partners Properties in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He offered to sell my Time Share at the Riviera Beach & Spa Resort in California if I was interested.  He said his company, Republic Partners Properties, offered loans to prospective buyers that were interested in buying Time Shares, and that he would get me a buyer.  Will Davies seemed credible to me and I said I had this Time Share that I had tried to sell for several years.  I told him I wanted $11,000 for it.  He came back to me later and told me he had found  a buyer for the price I was asking for.  He said I would have to pay an upfront fee of $1,995 for documantation, and at the conclusion of the sale of the Time Share, I was going to get a check for $11,000.  He said the whole transaction would take 60 to 90 days.  I spoke to David, Will's supervisor, because I was having trouble understanding all this.  David explained the whole process and seemed credible too; consequently I believed in them not knowibg I was being decieved.  I signed the forms electronically and charged the $1,995 upfront fee to my credit card. About a month later, I called the company to check on progress on the transaction.  I found out that nobody answered the phone; customer service did not pick up the phone and the company's website was closed.  There was nobody to talk to.  There and then it dawned to me that I was a victim of a SCAM.

Sorry to hear about your dilema.  We had a similar situation (with another company) but got our money back by having our credit card company file a dispute on the entry.  If it is not too late.....contact your credit card company and see if you can get that process started.  I am surprised the credit card companies continue to do business with these shysters but then again, who is protecting us from the credit card companies.  Good luck.

The company that took my name ($1,995 which I paid by credit card) in the fraudulent transaction is Republic Partners Properties as reported earlier.  The Bank statement shows the money was paid to "LUNAR II ENTERPRISES NEW YORK NY".  So there must be a connection between Republic Partners Properties and LUNAR II ENTERPRISES NEW YORK NY. I am tryinng to contact LUNAR II ENTERPRISES NEW YORK NY.
