Complaint Review: Republic Services

After contacting this company numerous times about unfair billing practices I fired them in June. Finally in August they send me the final bill and after the extra fees they tacked on the one month service I was required to pay for when I cancelled doubled. They charged $15.00 to pick up their container, $5.00 late fee ( even though it took them the twomonths to send the bill) $3.25 administraive fee and$6.01 as a fuel recovery fee. In other words they dug as deep as they could into my pocket for the last chance they were going to get. This was all in addition to the $29.26 they charged for the service. This Company is a rip off. They are out to get You. Don't do Business with them ever. They lie and Steal your money. They oriinal contract started at $58.00 for 3 months service and by the time I could cancell it was $112.00. now they want to extort more from me just to make them go away. Avoid them at all costs.
