Complaint Review: Request carpet cleaning

In Nov 2011 I received a call soliciting  business for carpet cleaning, since I was in the market to get my carpets cleaned I scheduled.   They showed up an hour late, in just a pick up truck.  I was a bit worried since I thought they used a cleaner in a van.  The guy started vacuuming my carpet with a 20 year old vacuum.  The next thing I knew he was spraying some solution on my carpet with a weed sprayer.  I ask him what he was doing and he said "just pre treating" so I went about my business. 

The next thing I knew he was scrubbing my carpet with a rotary scrubbing buffer machine,  I wasn't sure what to do. I ask if he was going to suck up the dirty water and he told me it would vacuum up in a few days. He knew I was not happy and I refused to sign the papers. The next day my carpet was still wet and my carpet was gray from the traffic areas being scrubbed around.  It was really noticeable since he couldn't get his scrubber machine under some of my furniture.

We tried to resolve this mater with the company over the phone and they said the only thing they would do for us is come scrub it again, that was not an option since they ruined the fibers in our carpet and it voided my manufacture warranty. The following day I called Coit to come clean the carpet again I have now payed twice, they cleaned them and they came really clean but they ask why my fibers were fraying. I was so embarrassed that I had even used this company,  check them out before you have them do a job for you..

I would never have them in my house again, and I hope my experience will save your carpet!
