Rescue Rooter ,Rescue Rooter TOTALY took advantage of situation Salt Lake City Utah
My wife and I were going to an all day meeting and our only toilet was running slow so we called Rescue Rooter. We had a friend come over to be with my elderly mother and to authorize the repairs and we left a credit card. The problem was in the line under the house and needed a new piece of pipe and toilet flange. We were not accessible by phone and it was our only bathroom so Rescue Rooter charged $1,700.00, which is over $300 per hour. Other plumbers in our area charge between $60-$90 pr hour. We authorized our baby sitter, before we left for the day, to ok the repairs but find the rates outrages and feel Rescue Rooter really took advantage of the situation.
