Tried to steal $6,000 from yy 75 year old mother.  Her toilet backed up and she called Rescue Rooter. They came out and said that the sewer line needed to be replaced. They quoted her $12,000 for 45 feet of pipe. Then they said they would give her a "discount" for AAA and lowered it to $11,000. She gave them a $1,000 deposit on her credit card and they started to proceed. She called me right after she signed the contract, and I immediately got on the phone to cancel the contract because the price was more than double what it should be.

He let me cancel it because he realized I knew exactly what he had done.He  called me back an hour later to give me a price of $7,500 then $6,500, we settled on $6250 because they were already digging (said they ran the camera (never could get the video to prove the blockage) and had the permits (doubtful) since the ink was barely dry on the contract. My mom was very upset over the whole situation and especially about not having any water.

The other contractor couldn't start until the next day and rain was on the way, so I let these schysters finish the job. After
reading all of the bad reviews online, i am convinced that these guys are bad news.  If she hadn't have called me should would have given them $11,000 for a ??? job.  I am sure I paid too much at $6,250, it could have only been a few thousand. She doesn't even have the money, she had to put it on her credit card and pay interest.  They should be ashamed of themselves.

Needless to say, BEWARE.
