Complaint Review: Research Spectrum

Just received a check from these people. The tale-tale signs of a scam are all over this documentation. Starting with the Canadian postage stamp (traveling a bit out of the way from California to Canada just to buy stamps!) There is no return address on the envelope which was hand-sealed (licked gum envelope closure), non-business envelope. The check itself is said to be from Comercia Bank of California- a little research and oh what a surprise - no such bank exists. I don't know how many people fall for this nonsense but these people need to be stopped I can only imagine if they got to my grandmother or others like her who retain an innocent naivete in such matters
